Spectrum connectivity issues?

They were at my house just a bit ago and said my connections inside and outside were corroded so fixed it all.  Seems to be working fine now.  Crossing my fingers.

Had to reschedule all of my client calls due to no connection or Zoom being unable to function. This is a mess. I've pretty much lost a whole day of work today because of this. Yesterday was even worse when I was on a Zoom with new clients and the internet just stopped - was unable to reconnect back with my client.  Great first impression!
Spectrum is a joke, they are advising that this has to do with our modem

TV buffered twice today and got dropped from work VPN as well!  Yesterday,

Placing another call to them.  Although it's improved from yesterday,

So as stated previously the problem with cable modem system is traffic.  We know it cannot be the hardware since it is all affecting you in spectrum.  So it is likely that they provisioned too many on the segment and it is a mathematical probability of usage.  Or possibly it’s spectrum’s hardware somewhere they’ve yet to identified.  It is more likely provisioning issue since connectivity problem is intermittent/inconsistent.

Here is a link explaining the possible reasons.  I used to be on spectrum but went to GVTC for more sustained consistency.  That is the advantage of fiber at pretty much the same price for the similar but more consistent speed.  250 Mbps works just fine for pretty much anything!
