Finding E310 Release Version
Mon, May 23, 2016 3:57 PM
Can I estimate the version based on the date here? That doesn't seem like the most reliable way to do it. Thanks, Devin

Bottleneck for high sampling rate?

I don't think doing simulations where I have 10 streams throttled at 10Msps in GRC will give me a good estimate of these things. Thank you, AB

Can anyone estimate how many GPS jammers there are in the New England area? There just might be "thousands". I don't know.

Thames River Pacific Loon - No
Sun, Jan 5, 2014 3:54 PM
We would estimate that there are about 40 loons on the river right now, but no sign of the Pacific Loon found yesterday by Shai Mitra.  It is difficult to get viewing access to all points on the river, so it could very well still be there.  Glenn Williams Mystic

Westport Tern Show

I estimate at least 100 terns out there,an increase from a week ago when we had about 30. I also had 2 Least Terns yesterday afternoon feeding at the Sherwood Mill Pond so they may be trying to nest out there as well. Tina Green Westport Sent from my iPhone

Mew Gull, Lighthouse Point

My very rough estimate was about 2,000 gulls plankton feeding in the vicinity. These plankton-feeding gull flocks can be incredibly ephemeral, so chasing an individual is tricky at best. Nick Bonomo Wallingford, CT www.shorebirder.com
