With a rough azimuth estimate you can dial in in a few seconds The elevation adjustment on the antenna required reset 4-5 times within a 5deg range despite max/min water and fuel tank loadings in outboard tanks. We use a single LNB dish to save weight and wind drag.

The nonnegotiable purchase price that many sellers offer is based in part on an estimate (often faulty) of the value of the property and their personal ego and emotional investment in the sale. It takes the passage of time for them to realize that carrying costs of the property, whether boat or house, erode the profit they might realize on the sale.

VERBALLY, our broker has told us that we are covered in Abaco, but the policy says "60 miles offshore" and my quick estimate on the computer shows Hopetown as approximately 160 nautical miles from Lake Worth as the crow flies. 3. Obviously, we want to pay as little as possible.

The squall which broke the 1/2" line caught the boat from abeam, and we didn't have time to see the aerometer, or inclinator, since we were hanging on--estimate wind speed was in excess of 70 knots and the angle of heel of the vessel was about 45 degrees, with no sails up.

Today they'll take a look and give us an estimate for adding some electronic stuff to the boat. When that's all completed we'll go east to the next harbor - Oyster Bay, and dock there for a few days. Wade Ehlen MT 36 Shady Lady New Bern NC

Alternatively, call the fridge a throw-away and add 20%-30% to your power consumption estimate and your required battery capacity. FWIW. -Sean http://OurOdyssey.BlogSpot.com

A recent estimate, given to me for a customer of mine, to rebuild an engine about the size of what is driving your genset (35 hp, 4 cylinder), here in Panama City, was around $2500 to $3000- parts and labor; maybe a little less depending on which parts were reusable. Removal from the boat and re-installation was additional.

Transmission (Velvet Drive) Rebuild
Wed, Nov 23, 2011 2:26 PM
Lastly, the estimates seem on the low side. It actually required 11 hours of labor (mine plus a good mechanic: ie 22 man hours) to remove and reinstall one transmission with no wasted effort! The actual cost for rebuilding the Twin Disc was about $500 for labor plus $1,900 for parts (bearings, seals, clutch plates etc.) including parts.

Shadows, don't under estimate the impact of shadows. A small shadow can greatly reduce the output. Shay Glass DeFever CPMY "Escape" Green Turtle Cay -- Shay Glass

I estimate about half that speed for a chance to stop and look around. I took about 6 days to get from Trenton to Fenelon Falls, which is roughly in the middle (and then retraced). There's also a private site: https://www.trentsevern.com Another alternative with which I am more familiar is the Rideau System, but they used to state "5 feet" as the draft.
