Re: T&T: Proper anchor weight
Thu, Feb 6, 2014 2:50 PM
He estimated a full positive reset in about 30'. Since I often anchor and raft with other vessels and I had room for a bigger anchor, I went with a 72lb hook. I can say that my 72lb Rocna simply stays where I drop it and, in 5 years, I have only had to make a second pass one time.

As these were winter projects I didn’t really track the time, but I suspect that the two week estimate could be a little aggressive. Of course it depends on the size and scope of work and if you’re including paint, but the 2K figure could be about right, I may have spent just a little more on both projects.

Re: [USRP-users] Implementing FFT on FPGA

The first step to estimate this would be to generate an FFT from Xilinx's coregen tool to the approximate parameters you desire add it to the USRP data base crudely (i.e connect it to signals so it's not optimized away!) and see how many resources it uses.

I can't help you estimate your own application's CPU needs. Greetings, Marcus On 03/26/2015 09:47 AM, Rana Arslan Ahmad wrote: > Thanks for your detailed guidance. > > Can I run proposed FM application like FM receiver on Embedded E-series??

I suggest you consider modifying your requirements, or explain to your supervisor that what is being asked for is not possible without compromising cost and risk estimates. best regards, steven Steven Knudsen, Ph.D., P.Eng. www. techconficio.ca www.linkedin.com/in/knudstevenknudsen All the wires are cut, my friends Live beyond the severed ends.

Re: [USRP-users] Temporal drift between two B210 ?
Tue, Sep 6, 2016 4:17 PM
I compensated using a blind estimation TOA algorithm that both (all) radios run to keep their clocks aligned. Since the alg is blind and the radios are often 30km or more apart, the average offset is on the order of 100 us. It can be (much) better when they are closer or if you can have radios measure their inter-radio delay.

Re: [USRP-users] R: X300 STREAM_MODE_NUM_SAMPS_AND_DONE length limitation

I'm trying to estimate how long that timeout should be, and in some cases it obviously would be more or less worse than a possible scenario without timeouting. Vladimir >Понедельник, 2 октября 2017, 16:05 +03:00 от Disco Daniele : > >I have the same problem.

FOSDEM 2018: SDR Track CfP

Lengths aren't fixed, but give a realistic estimate and please don't exceed 30 minutes unless you have something special planned (in that case, contact one of us). Also, don't forget to include time for Q&A. We will typically go for 30-minute slots -- shorter talks, unless they're really short, usually tend to screw up the schedule too much.

*conj(x))/length(x) and then you can compute simple calibration factor: c=Px/Px_uncal Now you can use it to compute estimate of power 'Py' of another RF signal 'y': Py_uncal = sum(y.
