Shoaling at mile 265 (between Panama City and Destin)
Wed, Aug 21, 2013 7:51 PM
There is no estimate of when the money will be available to fix this, but because it hinders barge delivery of fuel to panama City (our normal method), I assume it will not be long. Rich Gano Calypso (GB42 Hull # 295) Panama City area, FL

Cerulean Warblers, request for information
Wed, May 23, 2007 6:23 PM
I would appreciate reports if you have any information on nesting sites or rough population estimates for any of those sites. I do have the report from the Cornell Cerulean Warbler Atlas Project from a few years back, but I would like to see if there are sites that are missing from that report. Please respond to me off-line so as to not clog the list.

[Ontbirds]Birds seen this week in Bradford,Ontario
Thu, Mar 20, 2008 12:30 AM
Today I saw an immense flock of Bohemian Waxwings (estimated at close to 300 birds) feeding in and around some flowering crab trees on Maplegrove Avenue in Bradford. At one point, they arose en masse and towered overhead to avoid a Sharp-shinned Hawk that had bolted onto the scene.

TWL: loop type question

What would be a good time estimate/allotment for a trip from US coast to coast? Say for instance L.A to N.Y.C ? Granted there are "straight through" vs "having fun and enjoying" time frames. Anyone care to guess a good balance on the two? If anyone feels like it, send me your particular story. Work project just wrapped up and time is on my side..
