This year, average net tuition and fees were estimated at $3,120 for in-state students at public four-year colleges and $12,460 for students at private nonprofit four-year institutions.

Re: [USRP-users] Changes in carrier phase due to Doppler
Mon, Aug 15, 2016 10:00 AM
It is just based on estimates! Now, remember that our presumption (so that the system works at all) is that we can accurately determine $f_1$ and $f_2$ (or, at least, their ratio), which means that we can correct the Doppler in our $\hat\varphi$ estimates.

[TWGL] Re: Current and tide on the Hudson
Sat, Dec 15, 2001 4:21 PM
If you get the tide at the Battery from the NOAA broadcast, you can make a good estimate of tidal conditons up river. The current peak up river is about 15 minutes after high tide. Because of the down river flow, the current peak down river is about 30 minutes after low tide. All this is give or take about 15 minutes because of local conditions.

Re: TWGL: Re: Bilge keels

I estimate the roll reduction at 30%, but have no data to back that up. Pooh is 46' long, beam 15', draft 4.7 ft, and weighs about 33,000lbs loaded. The bilge keels I built of PVC foam with glass and epoxy over. The keels are each about 8' long, 1.4" thick, and 5.5" wide.

We are Tom and Nancy Yates and finally left from Bobcaygeon, Ont. on Sept. 17 aboard our Marine Trader, Wanderlust, to start the Great Loop.....Unfortunately, everything that could go wrong, has and the boat is presently at Killbear Marina on Georgian Bay awaiting an estimate for a large hole in the keel after a run in with a rock.

Re: GL: More on Boat Size
Fri, Apr 22, 2005 10:24 AM
In my estimation they are great boats, and are among the most seaworthy for their size around. There are 2 24' models around the area and both are impressive in economy and seakeeping. Both use 4 cycle O/B power and seem to extract the most in performance from their horsepower.

Hudson to Georgian Bay, North Channel and back
Mon, Feb 12, 2007 7:38 PM
This comes to about 85 days---- very rough estimate. There is the alternative of course of doing Ottawa on the return trip by going from Kingston ON via the Rideau then down the Ottawa river past Montreal and picking up the Richelieu for the Champlain route avoiding the Seaway.

Shady Lady Docked in Glen Cove NY
Tue, Jul 13, 2010 1:17 PM
Today they'll take a look and give us an estimate for adding some electronic stuff to the boat. When that's all completed we'll go east to the next harbor - Oyster Bay, and dock there for a few days. Wade Ehlen MT 36 Shady Lady New Bern NC
