Shorebirds Southport Sunday
Mon, Jan 2, 2023 3:29 PM
Yesterday, flock of mixed shorebirds, 300 estimate, Sanderlings and Dunlin at Sasco Creek Beach, Pequot Ave., Southport. Afternoon, Sunday as tide turned, this large flock repeatedly lifted off from exposed substrate to find new roosts. For at least a half an hour this large flock flew back and forth making for an impressive murmuration display.

Knowing these items, you can estimate your fuel requirements per hour or per mile based on previous experience. Now let's say you estimate a thirty mile trip at 30 mph, this would be one hour.
