You only need to estimate > the area within the outline of the boat. This can be made up of > simplified geometric shapes > (rectangle and triangles mostly for a boat). Glad I missed the ferry

I estimate 15 foot waves, but then again, I was in the middle of it. Coulda been 25 foot waves, or `10 footers. I just remember seeing green water over the hood of my truck.

Re: T&T: Any current or former fleet captains out there?

At least here in Tampa bay where they are not hesitant to give out BUIs even in dinks (although not enough in my estimation). Perhaps I am too old school (damn, hurts to say that at 48) but I would hope as a list we don't advocate drinking and operating motor vehicles. Joel Wilkins Miss Magoo C-45, #98 S.

Help with running on one engine.

We can carry 1200 gals (US) and for many years now we only fill with our estimated usage not counting the base 150 gals. It works for me. Regards. Leonard Stern, INDIFFERENCE

Marina contractor fees
Thu, Jan 13, 2011 4:30 PM
Getting a refeer repaired, they don't charge for estimates but do for work done. In ten years of boating, I have encountered marinas that want contractors to stop at the office and be bonded insured etc but never one that levied a fee for work done by an outside contractor. Is this common or even legal??

Of course I estimate the distance between marks. For deeper water I use a long boat hook with similar marks. On a more savory note, I too use the Weber Q grill. It has worked fine for four years. Normally it takes a portable propane bottle but Weber sells a connecting hose to attach it to regular sized propane tanks. Larry Z

re priming raw water cooling line
Mon, May 6, 2019 7:27 PM
the engine survey noted that the raw water line loops up into the yanmar high above the water line i would estimate 18 inches or so. if all the seawater drains out when we haul out for the survey and lose prime what is the best way to "re-water"? pull off the line at the engine and dump in water?

RESAMPLING EFFECTS !?
Mon, Feb 24, 2014 6:07 PM
Hi, I have a problem in communicating a waveform with the following specs: Waveform Baud rate = 2400 Waveform Sample rate = 9600 Hz USRP input sample rate = 400 kHz (9600 Hz to 400 kHz by re-sampling with 125/3) Super frame length = about 9 seconds (CFO removal at start of each) Channel estimation = around every 100 msec (training seq. space) Daughter board

Three N200 to implement initial phase difference
Tue, Nov 1, 2016 8:22 AM
Hi all, I'm trying to estimation initial phase difference to eliminate. These're all N200 USRP, and one to be TX, others(two) are RX. But I got serious signal loss. My Rx sampling rate is 200k. After 10000 samples, there were only noise. Do you have any IDEA that what's the problem ?
