On the grounds: The large flock of Starlings continues- conservative estimate of 200-feeding on marsh edge, bathing and drinking in the fountain and flying into trees.

Blue-headed Vireo - A high of 19 were estimated at the Tip October 17 (LPBO). Tree Swallow - Small numbers were observed throughout the week with a high of 28 on October 11 (SAM). Brown Creeper - A high of 100 birds were estimated at the Tip October 17 (LPBO). Golden-crowned Kinglet - A high of 2,000 birds were estimated at the Tip October 17 (LPBO).

I would estimate that at a motoring speed of 5-6 mph this would take you at least 6-8 weeks, probably more. My brother took his 38' SeaRay from Lake Charlevoix to Knoxville, TN a couple of years ago. Cruising at up to 35 mph, this trip took them three weeks!!! YRMV (Your Results May Vary).

While "American" Common Eider (race dresseri) may be slightly increasing in numbers now by some estimates, the data compilation to date seems less than optimally acquired.

Someone we met coming back from the tip said things were quiet there before 8:00 am, so we're estimating this reverse migration began around 8:30 a.m. We watched for about an hour and estimated birds flying south at the rate of about 10-20 birds per minute.
